Started my nursing journey with becoming a CNA through Iowa Western.
Bachelors in Nursing at Methodist College in Omaha Nebraska, graduated with honors.
Masters in Nursing- FNP at Clarkson College in Omaha Nebraska.
Post masters certification- PMHNP at University of Missouri at Kansas City, graduated with honors.
Licensure/Certifications:
Currently have dual certification as a family nurse practitioner and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
Professional Experience/Accomplishments:
My nurse practitioner journey began in 2015 as a family nurse practitioner working in plastics and reconstructive surgery for five years. Through this experience, became an aesthetic injector and have been doing this part time for the last ten years. Starting in 2016, began working part time as an urgent care nurse practitioner, and eventually went full time as a nurse practitioner during COVID. In 2022 graduated with PMHNP and began working at the VA in 2023, in residential treatment.
Hobbies/Interests:
Plants and pets (preferably dogs!)
